AFIA delays budget cap changes until 2017

The AFIA today confirmed that plans to tighten the budget cap have been pushed back until the 2017 season.

“We definitely did not forget they existed.” AFIA spokesperson-at-large Hugo Largetrousers said to confused team principals. “We just simply felt that the budget cap was too restrictive during this ongoing shortage of double glazing” He concluded before jumping through a first floor window.

The news comes after the AFIA opened up entries for engine manufacturers to submit their plans for the 2016 season.
