Romain Grosjean will make his return to Tornado Motorsport in 2017.
Team Principal Tobias Wolff announced the news to assembled onlookers at the team factory this morning, stating that “Hopefully he can get redemption after missing out on the 2013 title with us” and that he was “looking for a new sponsor to offset the potential car damage costs”.
Grosjean will line up alongside FF2M championship hopeful Vaino Kimminen who has impressed in a typically aggressive testing programme for the Somerset based team this term, regularly outpacing current race drivers Tomas Gonzalez and Sergio Perez who now find themselves needing to secure a drive elsewhere for 2017.
