Daniel Ricciardo has agreed to extend his stint with Andrew Racing into the third season, it was announced today.
The Australian has been in superb form this season, despite the team having only used Hard compound tyres in the first fourteen rounds of the season. Ricciardo will be hoping that the new tyre rules in 2017 will lead to the team using a wider variety of rubber in the new campaign.
Ricciardo’s team mate for 2017 is still unknown, though the team’s close links with Tornado have led to rumours linking Mexican Sergio Perez with the vacant spot.
