Rosberg looks for one last hurrah with Pedersen

Nico Rosberg today announced that he will retire from FF1M at the end of the 2016 season, and then announced that he will contest that season with Pedersen.

It is a curious decision for the German but after a series of retirements from competitive positions this season it was clear that he had tired of the Willows team where he had spent the past two and a half seasons.

Rosberg joins a Pedersen team who are also glad to be rid of Ilmor engines after an uncompetive and unreliable campaign, both team and driver will be hoping that new customer ERS rules will help them compete with Mugen engines in 2016.
