Red Bull joins Pedersen as title sponsor for 2016

Michael Pedersen Racing announced today that Austrian Energy Drink company Red Bull will become the team’s title sponsor in 2016.

Pedersen, who seemingly needed an energy drink after sleeping through the 2015 season entry process, will hope the partnership gives the team wings to fly up the grid after a difficult start to the season.

Despite the news the team confirmed that they expect to remain with their distinctive yellow, black and white livery for 2016.

Pedersen recently announced that they would rejoin Mugen as engine customers after a season away with Ilmor.
