Gonzalez leads morning session

FF3M runner up Tomas Gonzalez set the fastest time this morning as the FF1M Young Driver Test got under way at Interlagos.

The Argentine driver, driving the Tornado Ferrari in which Romain Grosjean narrowly missed out on the Drivers Championship on Sunday, set a time of 1m 11.0 seconds, just under two tenths of a second quicker than fellow FF3M graduate Cooper Lee driving for Mitchell. Itsuki Yoshida, Max Verstappen and Esteban Ocon completed the top five for Shake n Bake, Andrew Racing and Willows respectively.

In the morning, all of the teams used their 2013 engines but will switch to their 2014 development units for the afternoon session.
