Gojira Autosport today announced that Nico Hulkenberg will join the team after the German was announced as being surplus to requirements at FJR.
Hulkenberg has had a lot of luck this season. All of it bad. And he has found himself without a drive at FJR after the Yorkshire team elected to promote Catharina Carraciola instead. Meanwhile, Gojira have had their own struggles this season, with the manufacturer team considered to have focused too heavily on developing its engine, instead of its car. The Brazilian/Japanese team have therefore decided to make a new start, and have elected to take on two new drivers in Hulkenberg and FF2M championship contender Alessandro Farina.
