Ajay Motorsports has made its first signing of the silly season by taking on Gojira driver James Clark.
Clark, from, made his FF1M debut at this seasons German Grand Prix but found himself without a race seat for 2017. Team Principal Ajay Ecclescakes told assembled press “James is an FF2M champion and has shown himself to be on the pace in FF1M, and we plan to support his development during the next twelve months and give him ample opportunity to improve his career prospects going forward”.
Ajay Motorsports will return to FF1M in 2017 and have a history of taking on promising young drivers such as Juan Pablo Montoya in 1997 and Alex Yoong in 1999. They will also be developing the new Hart engine, although it is understood that the operation are open to third party investment from another team for 2018 and beyond.
