Andrew Racing have announced the signing of Jean-Eric Vergne for 2017.
With his FF1M options drying up, Vergne had been expected to join the new FFeM series and had spoken to several teams about a deal, but the Frenchman was said to be overjoyed by an eleventh hour bid from Andrew Racing.
Vergne has endured a tough season at Gojira, and whilst there had been an offer on the table to remain at the team as a development driver, he had a strong preference to remain racing if at all possible.
