Alguersauri takes first blood in Barcelona

Jaime Alguersuari took pole position for the opening race of the final round of the 2011 AF1RL season.

The Spaniard will line up alongside title rival Jean-Eric Vergne on the front row for todays race.

Alguersuari finds himself 28 points behind Vergne going into race one and needs to score at least three more points than the frenchman in order to take the title to tomorrow’s final race.
