Ajay Motorsports today confirmed that former FF2M driver Tse Genjo will join the team for the rest of the season.
The Chinese driver, who most recently raced for Albean in FFeM, will drive in Friday Practice Sessions for the team for the remainder of the season in the car of Kimi Raikkonen who has been given the morning off after appearing “worse for wear” on Friday mornings this season due to his intense work on Thursday evenings with the social media team filming a guide to the bars and gentlemans clubs of the FF1M calendar.
The move reunites Tse with the Ajay Motorsports team he drove with for the 2015 FF2M Season. Tse was the winner of the inaugural FF3M campaign where he beat current FF1M driver Tomas Gonzalez in a close campaign. Tse has struggled to match the success of his Argentine rival since then however and will be hoping this move reopens the door to FF1M with the silly season on the horizon.
