Ocon sticks with Monolith for 2019

Rookie of the year candidate Esteban Ocon was today confirmed as staying with Monolith for the 2019 season.

Monolith boss Legion said that “I’m delighted to confirm Esteban for another season. I expected him to have a solid showing this year but he’s grown into the a team leader far quicker than I expected. We’re lucky to have him and I hope we can keep improving going into next season.”

Meanwhile Ocon’s team mate Nico Hulkenberg has confirmed that he will wait for the silly season before deciding his future after a first half of the 2018 campaign where he has been outpaced by his young French team mate.
