FF1M

Fantasy Formula 1 Management

Eagle eyed observers of FF1M will not have failed to notice that there is still one space open on the grid for next season with the silly season period having ended.

Tornado Motorsport have taken the unusual step of declining to make a bid at this stage, approaching the AFIA for permission to wait to make the decision. The AFIA agreed and, as a result, Tornado have signed outgoing Mitchell driver Chuck Bucknum on a short term test deal until the end of the current season to access the American reigning FF2M champion’s potential.

Bucknum is due to make his Tornado debut in Friday Practice at the European Grand Prix in Brno, a tough baptism for the Detroit native on a circuit that nobody has raced on before. The AFIA have advised Tornado that following the European Grand Prix the FFeM silly season will take place and so time is limited for the team to access Bucknum before his services may be in demand elsewhere.
