Itsuki Yoshida will return to FF2M Asia with Shake n Bake Junior next season it was announced this morning in a hurriedly written press release on the back of a napkin.
The Japanese driver had been dropped by Shake n Bake from their FF1M lineup it had been announced last night, a decision which breached the terms of the team’s contract with fashion designer Samantha Kingz. After a long night of meetings over Skype between the team’s motorhome at Portimao and the designers in Tokyo, and a discount translation firm in Basingstoke, it was agreed that Yoshida would remain with the team as test driver and would race for the organisations junior arm in FF2M Asia.
It is understood that the Tokyo firm had planned to launch a new range of merchandise at the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka and their plans that been thrown into chaos by the erratic and spur of the moment decision making that team chairman Freddo Fwibbib is known for. As part of the renegotiated deal Yoshida will also drive for the team in Free Practice on the Friday of the event.
