Willows today announced that FF2M title contender Stoffel Vandoorne will step up to FF1M in 2015.
The Belgian driver currently drives for the outfits junior team in FF2M and has enjoyed a much improved performance in his second season, no doubt the result of increased FF1M testing mileage. Vandoorne currently lies second in the drivers championship after victory in this morning’s feature race at Spa.
Vandoorne will line up alongside Nico Rosberg at the team who currently lead the FF1M Constructors Championship going into tomorrow’s Belgian Grand Prix.
