The provisional calendar for the 2016 FF1M Season was released to teams today with Portimao taking over as host of the Portuguese Grand Prix from the Estoril circuit.
The Mexican Grand Prix is also absent, with both Mexico City and Estoril due to be included in the next FF1M Classic season instead.
The calendar features a record 19 rounds, including a returning Bahrain Grand Prix and a provisional finale in Abu Dhabi “dependant on whether circuit modifications can be made in time”.
The season will begin on 20th March in Australia with the traditional opener at Albert Park, Melbourne before moving to the Interlagos Circuit in Brazil two weeks later.
