The Macau Grand Prix will form part of the FF1M world championship for the first time in 2016 it was announced on Sunday.
The legendary street circuit will replace Abu Dhabi on the previously announced calendar after circuit changes were not made by the deadline for the calendars submission to the World Fantasy Motorsports Council.
It remains to be seen whether this association with FF1M proves to be a one-off or one that continues in future seasons. The event has seen a resurgence in recent years with FF2M Asia joining the bill in 2014. This seasons FF2M Asia Feature Race was won by Vaino Kimminen driving for Spaniel Racing.
