Grand Opening for new AFIA facilities

Today in Cockfosters, assembled dignitaries toured two new AFIA facilities as part of their grand opening.

The “AFIA Rolling Road” and “AFIA Wind Tunnel” facilities finally opened for business yesterday at AFIA Headquarters in Cockfosters with AFIA Press Officer at large Summer Assmouth welcoming esteemed former FF1M star and social media darling Taki Inoue to cut the ribbon. (Unfortunately on his way to the podium Mr Inoue was struck by an Ambulance and therefore Ms Assmouth was forced to cut the ribbon on his behalf.)

“These two great innovations promise to revolutionise the FF1M development process” Ms Assmouth said to assembled press. “For as little as 5 credits from next seasons budget, any team can have their car tested at our facilities to determine how far along they are on the Development Curve”.

“The ‘AFIA Rolling Road’ will test an engine’s performance, whilst the ‘AFIA Wind Tunnel’ will test its aerodynamics. It is hoped that teams using these facilities will be able to better focus their development efforts”

Teams will be able to book time at the facilities following the end of pre-season testing which is due to get underway in the coming weeks.
