The FF1M circus descends on the Hungaroring for the tenth round of the FF1M World Championship.
Grosjean holds off Magnussen in Towcester Thriller
Silverstone produced a nailbiter as early battles between the two Tornado’s and Mitchell’s Lewis Hamilton gave way to a chase for victory as FJR’s Kevin Magnussen produced one of the drives of the season so far to claw his way to second place from fourteenth on the grid, finishing just two seconds behind winner Romain Grosjean’s Tornado.
Championship challenger’s Vaino Kimminen and Lewis Hamilton were meanwhile left to rue missed opportunities after an Engine problem forced Kimminen out from the lead, whilst Hamilton’s fight for victory was curtailed by a slow pit release due to an oncoming Magnussen.

On to Hungaroring
The twisty Budapest circuit has had a habit of throwing up incident and excitement, not least of which was Gary Paffet’s infamous barrel-roll back in 2006 whilst driving for Venture Grand Prix.
The circuit’s habit of generating driver errors is reflected in the team’s tyre selections this weekend with no driver using the Soft compound during the race. As a result the majority of teams are likely to employ a two-stop strategy although high performance benefit and the chance of getting stuck in traffic may force some to opt for a three stop.
Will the unique consecutive mid-speed turns of the Hungaroring produce a specialist performance, or will the general superiority of Tornado shine through?
Support Races
FF1M will be joined on the weekend by FF2M. Charles Leclerc and Mason Taylor will be aiming to keep the pressure on championship leader Chuck Bucknam on the notorious Budapest circuit.
Coverage Details
The race highlights will be available from 15:00 GMT on Sunday 10th November.
Following the race the teams move on to Zandvoort for a two day test.
