The Hart engine name will potentially return to FF1M in 2017 as engineer Ryan Hart announced that his organisation will take over development of the Ilmor engine next season.
The Hart engine will be developed by the Ajay Motorsports team during the pre-season engine manufacturer test with future details of development to be provided at a later date dependant on whether Ajay Motorsports will enter the series proper for the first time since the 2012 season.
