2015 FF2M champion James Clark will make his FF1M debut at the Hungaroring as a replacement for Robert Kubica who has parted ways with Gojira by mutual consent.
Kubica, and Gojira as a whole, has struggled for pace in 2016 scoring only two points and lying 20th in the drivers championship in a season in which the team was expected to challenge for honours. Kubica’s season ended with an engine failure midway through a British Grand Prix in which his race had already been compromised after hitting debris from Itsuki Yoshida’s spinning Shake n Bake.
Speaking about the change Gojira team boss Gui Cramer commented that “I want to give James a chance to show what he can do”.
