Bird lands at Danish Electric Racing

Sam Bird will make his return to the Pedersen stable where he famously won the Malaysian Grand Prix in 2016.

Bird will join up with Sebastian Buemi at the team, with both drivers reportedly confused by the lack of offers they received despite finishing 2nd and 3rd in the championship in 2017.

The negotiations were handled by administrators Ajay Motorsports on behalf of Michael Pedersen Racing.
