Jaime Alguersuari put his Caterham Pedersen on Pole Position for todays second race at the penultimate round of the 2011 AF1RL Season.
The Spaniard, who trails Jean-Eric Vergne by 18 points going into the race, set a time of 1m 31.0, just over a tenth of a second quicker than his rival who starts third.
Splitting the two title protagonists is yesterdays winner Robert Wickens in the Carlin TornadoF1.
