FF1M has revealed a draft 2014 calendar, featuring 18 races with the Mexican Grand Prix a surprise inclusion on the schedule.
As speculated earlier in the year San Marino and Spain have both lost their respective Grand Prix with Mexico and Portugal replacing them on the calendar.
The Portuguese GP will be the fourth race of the season and will take place at the Estoril circuit whilst the Mexican GP will take place at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez and slots in between Monaco and Canada as the seventh race of the season.
The schedule contains two locations marked as TBC, the European and American Grands Prix, and still needs to be formally approved by the AFIA Council at the end of the current season. Nurburgring and Circuit of the America’s are expected to remain as hosts of the two races.
As in 2013 the season will begin in Australia in March and finish in Brazil in November although no fixed dates have been revealed.
