Sebastian Vettel set the fastest time at Vallelunga this morning as teams took part on the first day of the final test of 2012.
Many of the teams chose to ignore development on this seasons car favoring the testing of parts designed for next season with Vettel and team test driver Edoardo Mortara amongst the teams to try out their new designs.
One of the other teams testing for next season was the returning Exolite team who ended the day with Jenson Button 5th fastest and Scott Speed in 11th.
