Pedersen Interview

On the final day of testing in Bahrain we sat down with team owner Michael Pedersen to discuss the upcoming season:

FF1M.com : Michael thanks for joining us, so the team come into the season as the reigning Constructors champions but without your lead driver Lewis Hamilton who moved to TornadoF1. Why did you decide to part company with Hamilton?

Michael Pedersen (MP) : Yeah we had a good season last time out, Hamilton wanted a change of scenery and he was honest and upfront with it so we let him go and we wish him all the best of luck in Tornado and i hope our roads cross again.

FF1M.com : With Hamilton gone you’ve decided to sign Bruno Senna to partner Kamuyi Kobayashi, what do you expect from your new line up this season?

MP : Senna, i mean when you hear that name you shiver because you know the history and with Bruno I hope we can continue to build on that history and to see him develop as a driver.

FF1M.com : We sit here with pre-season testing having just finished, did testing go to plan? If not have you reassessed your goals for the season ahead?

MP : Pretty much as we expected, its a new package and it will take time to sort out all the bits and bobs but we will be back soon!

FF1M.com : Finally who do you see as your main rival this season?

MP : Obviously it has to be Tornado as they have the best driver on the grid, apart from Bruno and Kamui offcourse 😉 but you never know what the season provides. Now if you excuse me i have a big £8 Cadbury’s dairy milk chocolate to eat.
