Mitchell signs sponsorship deal with Morrissey

English-based Mitchell has announced today a deal with Morrissey, the English singer and songwriter.

FF1M seasoned observers showed a bit of confusion in learning of the deal between the troubled and troublesome singer and the championship contender outfit, but as more was disclosed, things began making more sense.

In perhaps the biggest blunder of the year, newly promoted team marketing director, Khan T. Reed, accidentally signed a deal where the Mitchell team will actually be paying the singer to display a team banner and wear its clothing attire on public performances. Team owner Joe Mitchell was reportedly furious as he had asked his team to approach Morrison’s to see if the chain store would begin a bidding war against Sainsbury’s, which had reportedly approached the team for a two-year deal.

Mitchell Motorsport now looks forward to have Morrissey perform at their paddock tent for the next five races, supporting his newly released album “Why am I here?”
