The AFIA today revealed the entry list for the 2015 FF1M Season following negotiations which began in Monaco several months ago.
The main story is that the Horizon team have not submitted an entry for the 2015 season and will be replaced by Meister who made their series debut in the 1989 FF1M season. Meister will take over Horizon’s IP meaning that they will retain the aerodynamic and tyre development of the previous seatholders.
The Meister team will also take over Horizon’s Climax engine supply. Climax whose engines are developed by the Tornado team will also welcome Andrew Racing and Mitchell as customers. Pedersen will meanwhile move to Ilmor power in the only other change from 2014.
The entry list also revealed most of the teams title sponsors for the next season, with championship leaders Willows signing up with Etihad for the 2015 campaign, whilst GRM and Andrew Racing swap sponsors. Shake n Bake meanwhile will partner with Japanese fashion label Samantha Kingz which has led to rumours that the team’s Japanese test driver Itsuki Yoshida will be promoted to a race seat in 2015. Whilst most other teams have retained their existing sponsorship both Meister and Pedersen however remain without a title sponsor at the current time.
