Hulkenberg remains with Mitchell for a sixth season

Nico Hulkenberg has agreed terms with Mitchell for a sixth season it was announced at Spa today.

The German driver has kept faith with the Somerset based team who have had a tough year following team-boss Mitchell’s illness earlier in the season.

Hulkenberg will be partnered next season by Australian rookie Cooper Lee who has come through the team’s young driver programme.

The team will move to Climax engines next year and are hoping that a change of engine supplier will push them up the grid.
