Meister Team Principal Laura Chung today confirmed that the team will continue to use Climax engines for the second season in FF1M in 2016 commenting that she saw “A lot of potential” in the partnership.
With the team currently lying third in the Constructors Championship, Chung added that she believed the teams debut season had been “Quite good so far” and “beyond her expectations” despite some “hardships along the way” such as Raikkonen’s engine failure from a podium position in Monaco.
When pressed on her goals for the rest of the season Chung commented that “Consistency” would be key to the teams future success and as a new team they hoped for more “experience on track battling with the big teams”.
