Chandhok replaces Maldonado in Mexico

Following todays Monaco Grand Prix, Pedersen press officer Kurt Langer confirmed that Pastor Maldonado, who finished 15th out of 17 finishers in the race, will be replaced by FF2M reigning champion Karun Chandhok in Mexico.

”After a dissapointing season so far from Pastor Maldonado, we have decided to go back in time and give our old junior and current reserve driver Karun Chandhok a chance in the car” Langer read to a gathered group of journalists.

“Pastor will continue to be employed by the team and will take part in practice for the Mexican Grand Prix as previously scheduled.” The press officer concluded.

The move will not come as too much of a surprise after angry voices were heard from the Pedersen offices after Maldonado crashed out of the Portuguese Grand Prix two weeks ago.
