Alvarez to make FF2M debut early

STV Racing have once again reshuffled their driver line-up during the 2014 FF2M season with Uruguayan driver Cristóbal Alvarez replacing Max Chilton for the final meeting at Barcelona.

With only seven points on the board courtesy of rookie Benjamin Pryor at Monaco, STV have experienced their worst season in FF2M history, which has seen Jolyon Palmer sacked after the first meeting as well as more than a few incidents for Pryor and the more experienced Chilton, who found himself squabbling with the two GRM Junior cars with the battles often ending in contact.

As Chilton is without a drive at the end of the season, STV has decided to release him early in favour of Alvarez, who was due to race for STV in the 2014-15 Asia series anyway. In his racing career so far, Alvarez has proved to be quick, but also very reluctant to cooperate with his teammates due to an abnormally introverted personality. It will be interesting to see how Pryor responds to his new teammate.
