Alonso returns to Exolite in 2016

FF1M Championship leader Fernando Alonso will return to Exolite for the 2016 season.

Alonso previously drove for the Yorkshire team on the team’s return to FF1M in 2013, winning the Monaco Grand Prix which remains the teams last victory.

Alonso replaces Jenson Button in the team who announced his retirement from competing in FF1M last month.

Exolite will use Megatron engines in 2016, and the team are undoubtedly hoping that this combination signals their return to winning ways.
