The AFIA today announced the calendar for the 2012 season.
Monaco returns to the calendar, whilst Road America has been slotted in for the 16th round of the season. Road America was originally slated to host the United States GP in 2011 however was replaced by Indianapolis due to logistical issues. There is also a spot left open for a second American race with the venue To Be Confirmed.
Malaysia, Bahrain, Nurburgring have all been dropped from the calendar with Indianapolis remaining on standby if Road America are unable to host again this season.
