2018 FF1M Calendar announced

The AFIA today released a draft version of the calendar for the 2018 FF1M Season beginning in Melbourne in late March and ending at Macau in late November.

The calendar is unchanged from the 2017 season in terms of locations, although the order in which some races take place has changed. Furthermore, the Austrian Grand Prix will take place on a longer variant of the Spielberg circuit.

The Spanish and Portuguese races were rumoured in the paddock to be under threat, but both remain on the draft version of the calendar at their respective venues. It is understood by FF1M.co.uk that both Jerez and Zandvoort appeared on earlier drafts of the calendar, but have been removed at this time.

As previously announced the season will be preceded by three official test sessions, at Jerez, Barcelona and Monza, with teams attending two each. The Mid-Season test has been dropped due to the amount of teams entered.
