The AFIA today confirmed the names of the eleven teams who will compete in the 2019 FF1M Season.
There will be no new teams for next season and, as previously announced, the grid will be trimmed from 13 to 11 teams with the AFIA employing a “quality over quantity” approach. The two teams from the 2018 FF1M Season who do not meet the cut are Ajay Motorsports and Galaxy Grand Prix.
The reduction in teams means that in 2019 there will be a single Practice session and no Qualifying session on Friday’s of race meetings, though it is yet to be announced whether the single practice session will be extended to 45 minutes or an hour as it was in previous seasons.
The full 2019 entry list is as follows:
- Andrew Racing
- CBA Racing
- FJR
- Gojira Autosport
- GR Motorsport
- Mitchell
- Monolith Racing System
- Shake n Bake Motorsport
- Tildesley Grand Prix
- Tornado Motorsport
