Valterri Bottas will remain at GRM for 2018 alongside new driver Callum Ilott.
The Finn will enter his seventh season with the squad with whom he has competed in 101 Grands Prix, winning four of them and starting two from pole position (both in 2017).
Bottas’s last victory came at Monza in the 2015 Season, a feat he is not expected to repeat this weekend with GRM enduring a tough year with a three year old car.
The move means that Sergio Perez is without a drive for 2019 and with the amount of available seats dropping fast it may be a year on the sidelines for the Mexican coffee spokesman.
